That State of Mind Called Happiness

Chase happiness, they said. So we all grow up looking forward to such an intangible idea.  We don't exactly know what happiness looks like ; we just somehow feel it.

When I was a kid, happiness  meant opening a book and finding a corner to lose myself into its pages. Now, it has become the very essence and the very core why I had this blog site.

But you know what they didn't tell us about happiness? It is the thought the we create and own it. We falsely think that there's an ultimate singular form of being happy , but my friend , I'll frankly tell you this,  there is none. What actually makes you happy does not necessarily paint a smile on my face and what makes me jump for joy  might not have the same effect on you.

Dipolog Boulevard 2k15

I know that it's kind of frustrating on how there can be no ultimate standard of happiness since everyone pursues it, desires it, and thrives for it. And we'd all be all like , "How can we really be happy?" , "Is there a universal formula to achieve it?"

My friend, again there is none.  No one has figured it out and no one will figure it out for you but your own self. And that is the beauty of happiness being relative, because it is you who can create is,  modify it, and make it to how exactly you want it to be. You can own it in such a way that no one can ever take it away from you.

On my younger days, I used to depend my happiness on the people around me. I would hoard all the happiness  I got. I would put it in a glass jar , and I named it my happiness jar , and would hand it over to any person I've known who I believed could keep and nurture it well - or at least I thought. Then my precious glass jar of happiness would always end up breaking or worse yet, missing , and so it left a pang of pain in me and would make me unhappy again.

It's only to  these days , of which I have embarked my teaching journey in a public school , my married life, and just recently on motherhood of which I came to realize that  I should and must not hand my glass jar of happiness  to anyone ever again ; that i should be the one keeping and holding it, because after all, it is but mine alone.

It took me a gazillion of feeling before realizing that happiness is just within me. It took me much awful heartbreaks (not the bf-gf relationship that you are thinking of) , severe disappointments , and breaking down moments ; before I learned that happiness should be here in me , buried in the very corner of my soul , and in every inch of my bone. It shall never lie to anyone , but myself.

Although "the husband" , our beautiful angels Ava and Brea, our families , and friends are a part of my happiness, it dawned on me that they can only be ones inside my glass jar of happiness  and that I have to treasure them as much as I carry the said jar.

So when you're having those days when you'd feel like you're losing your happiness , when you feel like you are missing the happiness  in you , take it back to whoever you handed it to. Take it back for it is all yours. Never ever hand it over again , and guard it with all your might and heart.

Because , my friend ,  your happiness is yours , and it is just as unique  and as beautiful as you are. No matter how minute or gigantic it may be , no matter what form and shape it may come in , those do not matter. What counts the most is that you have found something that lights up every piece  of your being and fuels up your spirit in this lifetime , and  once again it is your very own.

Whatever may the universe throw at you , may you always choose to create happiness!

Have a Happy Friday, Everyone!

The Girl You Must Date :)

"To the girl who reads by flashlight, who sees dragons in the clouds, who feels most alive in the worlds that never were, who knows magic is real, to that girl who dreams. . .

this is for YOU." (Photo from web)

Just lately, while I was busy trying to search , by all means how to bring back to  life my site , I've randomly opened a wonderful article I found so relatable. Hence,  I thought of publishing it and "why not" it's worth sharing though by the way and so here it goes:

Date a girl who reads. Date a girl who spends her money on books instead of clothes. She has problems with closet space because she has too many books. Date a girl who ha a list of books she wants to read, who has had a library card when she was still twelve.

Find a girl who reads. You'll know what she does because she will always have an unread book in her bag.  She's the one lovingly looking over the shelves in the bookstore, the one who quietly cries out when she finds out the book she wants. You see the weird chick sniffing the pages from an old book in a second hand book shop? That's the reader. They can never resist smelling the pages, especially when they are yellow.

She's the girl reading while waiting in that coffee shop down the street. The non-dairy creamer is floating on top because she's kind of engrossed already. Lost in the world of the author's making.  Sit down.  She might give you a glare, as most girls who read do not like to be interrupted.  Ask her if she like the book.

Buy her another cup of coffee.

Let her know that you really think of Murakami.  See if she got through the first chapter of the fellowship. Understand that if she says she understood James Joyce's Ulysses, she's just saying that to sound intelligent. Ask her if she loves Alice or if she would like to be Alice.

It's easy to date a girl who reads. Give her books for her birthday. for Christmas, and for anniversaries.

Give her the gifts of words, in poetry, in song. Give her Neruda, Pound, Sexton, Cumming. Let her know that you understand that words are love.  Understand that she knows the difference between books and reality but by God, she's going to try to make her life a little like her favorite book. It will never be your fault if she does.

She got to give it a shot somehow.

Lie to her. If she understands syntax, she will understand your need to lie. Behind words are other things: motivation, value, nuance, dialogue. It will not be the end of the world.

Fail herBecause a girl who reads knows that failures always leads up to climax. Because girls who can understand that all things will come to an end. That you can always write a sequel. That you can begin again and again and still be the hero. That life is meant to have a villain or two.

Why be frightened of everything that you are not? Girls who read understand that people, like characters, develop. Except in the Twilight Series.

If you find a girl who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 a.m. clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her.  You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. She'll talk as if the characters in the book are real, because for awhile, they always are.

You will propose on a hot air balloon. or during a rock concert.Or very casually, next time she's sick. Over Skype.

You will smile so hard you will wonder why your heart hasn't burst or bled out all over your chest yet. You will write the story of your lives, have kids with strange names and even stranger tastes. She will introduce your children to the Cat in the Hat and Aslan, maybe on the same day. You will walk the winters of your old age together and she will recite Keats under her breath while you shake the snow off your boots.

Date a girl who reads because you deserve it. You deserve a girl who can give you the most colorful life imaginable. If you can only give her monotony, and stale hours and half-baked proposals, then you'd better off alone. If you want the world and the worlds beyond it, date a girl who reads.

Or better yet, date w girl who writes."

******

And to share to you a little something special, my ex boyfriend just married her girlfriend who reads. A. LOT. :)

Love Musing No. 3 - "?"

A Rhetorical Question for Thy Month of Love

Photo from Web
“Her heart was a secret garden and the walls were very high.”

For all the years you've lived, have you asked yourself how thick your heart is? To what extent can it hold love? Has it been capable of feeling the "real" love?  As the love of month (of which I have been writing LOVE blah blah blah's because of such reason) continues to swift off time, probably, it's also about time to assess your own self and ask how thick your heart is.

Most of the time we spend life nailing pieces of armor onto it each and every day. Armor so no one can get inside. You are only given one heart so once it is gone, so are you. There is no recovery from a broken heart. There is no way to mend it once it’s been wounded. So who invented love and why? Love is just a way of giving your heart up to perish, returning the bullet to your shooter so he/she can try again.

Photo from Web

Love is the result of failed armor. You spend all this time protecting your heart and emotions, protecting them from some cruel persons who will try to break down your barriers. You try to protect yourself from nothing, but heartbreak. That is all that love leads up to, heartbreak. The glorious image of a fairytale ending and the princess and prince is just what it is called, a fairytale. None of those things exist. Those are torture devices our media has come up with. They are images they tease us with even though we know it will never happen. These images are the bait. They look good, but end up in disaster.

As you go through life there will be someone cruel enough to squeeze their way into your heart. They will try to break down the barriers you have spent your whole life building. Whoever that person may be, they will get in if you let them. Your protection will not be strong enough. You will let that deceiving person in to pull, and tug, and rip at your heart. They will trick you into letting them in, and you will let them in.
Photo from Web

You most likely will not believe what is being said right now. Most people don’t, because of the fairytale image that the media has created. You can say that you will be strong. You will not be gullible. You will stick your ground. But when it comes down to it, no one really does. Everyone falls into the pit of love-- the torture chamber. Love is no different than that fake contest on your computer that ends up spamming you.

The lyrics in the love songs of today, yesterday, and tomorrow have been written by people with no experience. The lyrics to the songs of heart break are written by people who have been fooled. The sad thing about love is that you never truly understand it, until you have felt the pain. Love is not a subject in school or a hobby you can study. It is not a test you can ace, because eventually everyone fails. As no one has the same finger print, no one has the same story. They may be similar, but they are never exactly the same. The only thing that is the same in every love story is that eventually you get fooled by a cruel person, and it all ends in failure. That’s how all love stories end.

Photo from Web
So when that time comes, when some villain pries open the armor that guards your heart, toys with your emotions, and then throws it aside, don’t feel alone. That is how everyone’s love story ends: heartbreak, deception, lies, betrayal, and sorrow. No one knows why love ends this way, or why it is such a gigantic contradiction, but it is. The worst thing of all is that you are aware of how painful it will be. You are aware that it will end in heartbreak. You are aware that nothing but regret will come from it, but we get sabotaged by it anyways.

The villain who enters your heart will block your clear vision and convince you that love is wonderful. Then, once you are brought back to reality again, it is as if you were not in this world. It is as if you were stuck in a concussion and just regained your consciousness. You do not realize how foolish you are being when you are in love. Then, later on, you look back on the memories and ask yourself, “How did I fall for that?”

Photo from Web
Soul mates. Lovers. “Meant to be.” They are all a façade. Why is it that we use the adjective lovely to mean beauty, when it is a derivative of the word love? Love -- the worst creation. Your heart is not an experiment. There are no re-dos. You only have one, and when you damage it there is almost no way to recover. Love starts out great and ends up as one big regret. Heart break, deception, lies, questions, low self-esteem, blindness, pessimism, hopelessness, despair, misery, anguish, depression, sorrow, betrayal, foolishness, wonder, disillusion, backstabbing, lack of comfort, fear, and tears are all the sorrowful results of love. Love is not a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection.

How thick is your heart? ^^

Love After 81 Months of Togetherness

Photo from Web

“One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.”

The word love scares people. It gives us a sense of power, a sense of belonging. When someone tells you that they love you it could be the best feeling in the world, or the worst. Some people just say it, because they don’t know what else is left. However, there are others who are completely sure. I know that some don’t believe it exists, or that there’s no true meaning to the word love. With TRUE love however, there are exceptions. With this blog, I'd like to share how I viewed that four-letter-word after 81 months of being in love with My Man all over again. ^^

There are reasons behind saying “I love you” to someone, and if someone really means it, they might be at a loss for words or have too many to write. I'm fond of saying  those words to not just anyone but those whom I surely love, my family, friends, classmates, and above all my HIM. Why? Because I know who I am, and I know where I stand. I’m not afraid to take chances, to take risks. Where would I be without them? So don’t be so confused or scared, just take a breath out of life. Take a step back and just relax, and think about things not with your head, but with your heart. Let me show you what I mean… to me:
www.hdwallpapers.in

Photo from Web
is when you hear that person’s name, and everything freezes. Love is when you’re out at a party having fun with your friends, and you find yourself in a zone thinking of that one person. It’s when you get sudden urges to just want to talk to them for no reason, when you can see anything and make it somehow remind you of them.

. . . LOVE is when you think about that same person every night before bed, and keep them in your prayers. It’s when you wake up in the morning, hoping that you have a missed call or a text from them. Love is when you don’t have that person in your life, and you dream about them. Your dreams are so real and feel so good, because you’re actually seeing or feeling that one person; and you would just rather sleep all day because reality just isn't that great without them in your life.

It’s when you could set aside one whole day, and from beginning to end have a million things to say about them. Love is when even after not seeing that person for a long time, yet you still smile whenever they cross your mind. Love is being able to read that person inside and out, and knowing that even when they say that everything is okay, everything is really not.

Photo from Web

Love is about fighting through the struggles, and wanting to get through them; even though it may mean tears and hurt feelings. It’s about not caring what others think, or have said or want for you. Love is when you close your eyes and you see their faces, it’s when you can’t help but smile when you see them walking towards you. Love is about wanting only that one person, because for some crazy reason no one else just seems good enough. It’s about finding a flaw in everyone else you try to love, it’s about comparing who you really love to those you do not, and it’s not about just the surface, it’s so much more.

It’s knowing they’ll always be there for you, no matter how many hurtful things they’ve said in the past. It’s about holding their hand and feeling safe. Love is when without that person you feel lost and confused, even though you tell yourself you’re not. Love isn’t about keeping track of time, but losing track of time; and knowing that it doesn’t matter how long you have or haven’t been together, but just knowing. It’s about forgiving and forgetting. It’s about pushing forward, yet never wanting a good moment to end.

Love is when you have things that remind you of that person, and they suddenly become your most precious gifts. Love is when you hear others saying hurtful things about that person, and you feel just as hurt as they would, if they had heard it themselves. Love is about realizing you’re not the same unless they’re there, and it’s about bettering yourself with them around. It’s so much more than just having fun with that person, or finding things in common. It’s about a deeper connection, and even if you don’t know every little thing about that person, you still know them better than they know themselves. It’s when you feel like everyday spent without them is a lost cause.

Love is when you hug your pillow at night, and fall asleep thinking it’s that one person when you don’t have them with you. Love is when you can easily lay in bed with them all day. Love is about forgetting the world around you when you’re together, and when you hold each other you don’t have a care in the world.

Photo from Web

Love is about knowing, knowing that without that person there is something missing. It’s about digging deep inside and asking yourself if you can truly be happy without them around. Love is about looking to your future, and seeing that person next to you, and it’s about knowing that if they’re not there then you’re just not going to be happy; even if you pretend. Love is being at a loss for words, yet being able to write a million about what love really is.

Love is out there, and it’s real. Everyone has their own stories, and so everyone will have their own definition. Love is confusing and it’s not something to take for granted nor to be pushed aside. It’s something to cherish, and to hold on to as long as you can. No one can predict the future, and no one can say they will love someone forever. But you can promise someone that all of these things are true. Love isn't something to be played with, it can heal but it can kill just as easily. It’s not a game yet it can’t be taken too seriously. Love is whatever you make it, but before you say it you better make sure you know it’s for sure, because those three words “I love you” are the most dangerous words in the world.

Though I've been describing love as so many blah blah blah. . .nothing still beats this biblical definition as to what love is. . . ^^

Re-Welcoming My Love Musings

Time has been so swift that I barely noticed it's been a year and a month or so since I started blogging. Anyhow, just some sort of reminiscing, it's the month of February which had led  me to an overwhelming number of page viewers for my  Happiness After Failed Relationship blog, of which by now had reached 3000 views. With this in mind, the idea of writing again some LOVE MUSINGS popped up in my mind. And since most of my blogs are about novels I've read, then for a lil change, why not!?

To start with, before you are to continue scrolling down, I want to provoke your thoughts for a little. It's just simple. Please be able to make a sentence out from the image below.

www.awordtothewives.blogspot.com

Thank you for your minute cooperation. It's because I once taught that love is a treasure to be cherished. Which is why I did some digging way back in my childhood in our backyard to search for such. hahahaha! Silly, isn't it? Later did I realize that it's never a thing to be unearthed in somebody's backyard and unfortunately not even in OUR backyard.

Here's the real thing. Love. It’s a simple but overused word. I love you. I love this song! I absolutely loved that movie! The word doesn't mean much anymore, not to most. Some people scoff at it. We throw it around like a used shirt from wearing it because it becomes tattered, uncomforatable, and sometimes we just come to love some new ones. But we never truly understand why we have it. We lend it out, forget about it, and years later, we think, “Hey, I really liked that shirt.”

www.sliceofmidlife.com

But do we care? No. It’s probably gone now, thrown away because of a rip or sold for a hundred peso at a garage sale. We forget and it doesn't matter after that.

Then we see the world fall apart.
www.biblicalspirituality.wordpress.com

From the safety of our living rooms we watch amateur video on the news or Internet, and sometimes we feel so helpless and alone we’re not sure what to do. We cry for the inhumanity, scream for the injustice, and wonder why the world is this way. We think we can change the world;

www.interaskyon.com

. . . we know we want to help those who need it most. . .  then we remember that T-shirt we threw out years ago.

We want it back; we fight and scramble for it. We go out and buy new shirts, try them on, but none seems to fit. We've lost it – we've lost LOVE. We are unnerved for a bit; we sit alone and beat ourselves up for letting it go. Then we just shrug it off. We say, “I’ll do it later” or “I’m too busy.”  "I’m guilty of it too." “I don’t have the right resources” or “I’m too young” or better yet “No one will care.” And it seems as if no one does.

Here then I've questioned myself, "Is my generation going to save the world?" We try, a small group of us, but our shirts are faded among the bright colors of greed, lust, and many others. We are pushed into the background. We try to push our way through the crowds, and we truly wonder, "Where has the love gone?"

I don’t want my love to fade; though my shirt is tattered and worn, I wear it daily. I am honest and open, and when I say that simple, dead, four-letter word, I mean it. I know I've made mistakes with it in the past and I almost threw my shirt away, but the most important thing is I carry it carefully now. It’s close to my heart, where it’s meant to be. I do lend it out every once in a while – I let those who need it try it on and feel the safety that I feel. I leave them pieces when I go, but my shirt never seems to tear. It stays just as simple as it ever was.

When the time comes, I will stand alone in this world and stare into the eyes of those with the shirts of greed and want and lust, and I will know that even though mine is not the most beautiful shirt in the crowd, it’s among the best I will ever have. And believe me, never will I ever trade it in for any other shirts.

After all, I've come to think that yes LOVE is a treasure for others, while I have mine in a form of a Tee. What about yours? ^^

Random Inkling. . . with LOVE ^^

“Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind."
- William Shakespeare

. . . because it's  completely 78 months that passed  since I said the magical YES to him and because I'm just so full of love today, my random inkling zeroed in for this notion, L-  O - V - E. :)
Photo : www.hdwallpaper.in

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you.

Our first ever pic together taken last December 16, 2007 (PS: Sorry for the quality of the photo, it's just so VINTAGE, hahahah!)

When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around.

Photo taken last Summer 2013 @ Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur
You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in their hearts to cherish forever.

Photo taken few years ago @ Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park
Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face.

Photo taken last Nov. 2, 2013 @ Sinacaban Beach
In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you.

You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end.

Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that one special person is a part of your life. ^_^

We strongly believe that. . .

Random Inklings

Mess Your Life's Intricate Pattern

“Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.”
Dalai Lama XIV

The month of September had had me running of lots and lots. . . and lots of errands (of which had left me unable to update my blog site, too.) Such month had worn me out so much because tons of works were everywhere. There were the mountainous papers to be checked and the nauseous numbers to be recorded ,  PLUS the most stressing part were the practices and the preparations for the school's cheerdance competition. Staying so late in school  then became a  temporary system for me. Notwithstanding all these complains for my friend, September, I have to say this pal (September) had also brought me to feelings, places, and people of which were once so alien to me. In short, I had been brought to Cloud 9,of which I believe is so heavenly , in just  less than a month despite of its exhaustive tasks at hand. ^^

And because I had left my site unattended for more than a couple of weeks, I out of a sudden feel the intense urge to get back on the show. To start with, I'd like you to read an essay  from an author who happened to be a personal favorite since college because of the way he catches me by surprise by his writing experties, just as  E.L.James, Dan Brown, Nicholas Sparks, and Jude Deveraux had captured me,  IN WHICH, I believe could sum up everything I had been in such a short span of time. Hence, I'd like you to read beyond the lines and to over analyze this:

CLOSING CYCLES

One always has to know when a stage comes to an end. If we insist on staying longer than the necessary time, we lose the happiness and the meaning of the other stages we have to go through.

Closing cycles, shutting doors, ending chapters whatever name we give it, what matters is to leave in the past the moments of life that have finished. Did you lose your job? Has a loving relationship come to an end? Did you leave your parents’ house? Gone to live abroad? Has a long-lasting friendship ended all of a sudden?

You can spend a long time wondering why this has happened. You can tell yourself you won’t take another step until you find out why certain things that were so important and so solid in your life have turned into dust, just like that.

But such an attitude will be awfully stressing for everyone involved: your parents, your husband or wife, your friends, your children, your sister, everyone will be finishing chapters, turning over new leaves, getting on with life, and they will all feel bad seeing you at a standstill.

Photo from Web
None of us can be in the present and the past at the same time, not even when we try to understand the things that happen to us. What has passed will not return: we cannot for ever be children, late adolescents, sons that feel guilt or rancor towards our parents, lovers who day and night relive an affair with someone who has gone away and has not the least intention of coming back.

Things pass, and the best we can do is to let them really go away. That is why it is so important (however painful it maybe!) to destroy souvenirs, move, give lots of things away to orphanages, sell or donate the books you have at home. Everything in this visible world is a manifestation of the invisible world, of what is going on in our hearts and getting rid of certain memories also means making some room for other memories to take their place.

Let things go. Release them. Detach yourself from them. Nobody plays this life with marked cards, so sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Do not expect anything in return, do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your genius to be discovered, your love to be understood. Stop turning on your emotional television to watch the same program over and over again, the one that shows how much you suffered from a certain loss: that is only poisoning you, nothing else.

Photo from Web
Nothing is more dangerous than not accepting love relationships that are broken off, work that is promised but there is no starting date, decisions that are always put off waiting for the ideal moment. Before a new chapter is begun, the old one has to be finished: tell yourself that what has passed will never come back. Remember that there was a time when you could live without that thing or that person. Nothing is irreplaceable. A habit is not a need. This may sound so obvious, it may even be difficult, but it is very important.

Closing cycles. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because. . .

that no longer fits your life.

Shut the door, change the record, clean the house, shake off the dust.

Stop being who you were, and change into who you are.
***

PUTTING an END. Letting go. Moving on. They all mean the same thing, Closing cycles. The cycle of life is indeed unfathomable. That is how I always describe it even when I was still young. Howbeit we want to let go, move on, close doors, or end the cycle we just cannot because sometimes you cannot walk away because something or someone NO longer fits your life. . . especially when it involves SIGNIFICANT OTHER/S. It’s not right to just walk away. It’s not right to LIVE only your life, yeah! We all have our own lives to take business into but still there are those who stay by our side. . .our family, our friends or special one . . .and we continue to put our lives on hold for them.

As far as I see it we cannot begin a new chapter in our lives if we don’t accept that we need to close a previous cycle in our existence , especially when it made an impact in your life. It is like living knowing you are going to die, or loving knowing you are going to get hurt, or  simply like mourning to give up the past.  I believe we all have the right to blast our emotions when something or someone is gone. Shredding some tears can often make us feel better and  it helps us put things in perspective. This  has been our simplest way out, our escape route.

God has left this door open for us to step through and start moving forward. Yes! It is hard! Our memories are a part of us. They are locked deep inside us and constitute what we are today. So the choice is to live in crazy, raw reality or live in a mirage of peaceful life. If I am to choose, I love  to live in reality no matter what the cost is. And a part of living in reality is to certainly close unnecessary cycles, because when you do, you undeniably  are living free.

Let go of the feelings, persons, places, and experiences which can never be yours and free yourself from all the unnecessary chains that may bind you from what had happened, what is happening, and what will happen.

So for a piece of advice: Oh, come on! wake up from your lucid dreams, loosen yourself, and for once break the rules, and mess the intricate pattern of  your life.

After all, “Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.”
BE CRAZY YET CHOOSE YOUR ACTIONS SO WELL!  ^^

Random Thoughts : "Everything Happens for a Reason" ( A note I once posted in FB)

Some people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there to serve some purposes, teach you a lesson or to help you figure out who you are and who you want to become. You never know who these people may be. They could be a neighbor, a professor, a friend , or a lover but when you lock eyes with them you know that at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound ways.

Sometimes the things happen to you may seem terrible, horrible, painful and unfair at first but in reflection you will find out that overcoming those obstacles, you would have never realized your potentials, strength, willpower or heart. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limit of your soul. without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life and the success and downfalls you experience help to create you as to who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences help us grow. In fact, they are sometimes the most important ones.

If someone hates you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them for they have helped you learn about TRUST and the importance of being CAUTIOUS to whom you open you heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people you never talked before and listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sight high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself that you are a great individual and believe in yourself; for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you, either.

You can make anything you wish in your life. Create your own life and live it with absolutely no regrets. Have a fighting spirit and never hesitate to get back in a struggle.

Most importantly, if you love someone tell them for you never know what tomorrow may have in store. And learn a lesson each day of life you live.

Someday, all will just make a perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusions, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that whatever may come at hand,  "EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON." :)

A Valentine Special: Cheers for Our Beautiful and Precious Friendship!

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”
 ― William Shakespeare

There is no one with whom to bounce ideas around or to talk about deep and troubling subjects other than them. They are the ones  we call in times of need or difficulty. They are at the mercy of our lives for us to lean on. And they are what we call "FRIENDS".

Photo from web
A lot of people go through life with only a few friends. It seems that some have less than that. They have no one on whom they can call in good times or bad.

Friendship is a gift to the mankind. Friendship has many forms and shapes. It is like water. If we pour the water into a Glass Water Bottle it takes the shape of it. If you pour the same water into a coffee cup and then it takes the shape of it. In the same way, friendship will take  different shapes and sizes according to our heart. Friendship gives pleasure to human beings. Where there is friendship then there will be less sorrows. When you see a child laughing, you will forget your sorrows for a second, same way when you are with a friend you forget your sorrows. They will make you happy like  there's nothing else to worry about. They ease your troubles and will try to let you laugh despite of those challenges you are facing.

Friendship is an everlasting feature in this world. There may be biggest miracle which can change the entire world but even in that miracle, friendship will also come out from its sleep. Friendship is like a banyan tree. A seed of a Banyan tree is very small, but when it comes out of earth nothing can stop its growth. The same applies to friendship. It will reside in our hearts like a seed of a banyan tree. When it finds the correct soil in another heart it starts its growth.

At one stage. when you get friendlier with that person the seed will become tree and  nothing in this world can stop it. Friends will try to find new ways to make you not to fall. Friends may not save but they never let you go to deep. Friends find innovative ways to stop you from falling and try to get some more help to lift you. When we don't have any friends we won't come out "light-heartedly" when there is a trouble. But when we have friends with us, every tear is worth dropping knowing they're there to listen to you and give  you solace.

We may not be brave but true friends encourage us a lot. They may belittle and mock us in front of them, but that is only their way of telling they are indeed real. Friends will save us from any situations. Friends will help us  escape from big troubles. Friends will come in all means they could do to help you solve the problems. Real friends never run away in times of your devastating "turbulence".

. . . the ones who see right through me.

A good friend stays when there is problem and goes after the problem solves. We can tell a lot about friendship and friends. You may have a lot of friends but try to get a friend who is loyal and trustworthy  and when you do reciprocate it in the same way, you have with you a precious friendship!

So this valentine's day, let us CHEERS for our beautiful FRIENDSHIP! ^^
